In accordance with IEC definitions this Industry covers following product categories we are working with:  HOUS, INST, LITE, MEAS, POW, PROT, SAFE, TOOL and TRON. Most Russia Area countries implement IEC safety standards or harmonized standards, however a few CIS countries have their own country standards, which are fully or partially based on IEC safety standards. All countries are accepting CB-scheme certificates and/or CB safety test reports.

All Russia Area countries, except Tajikistan, have mandatory EMC regulation based on IEC and CISPR series standard. Both aspects - emissions and immunity are mandatory. This regulation is related to all represented industries.
